Bunkhouse Ministries – Directors:
Tony and Robin Ellenburg & Assistant Directors: Dustin and Marah Kyser
Oak Grove actively supports this local ministry founded by Bro. Tony and Sis. Robin Ellenburg, and located in Geneva, Alabama. It is a men’s rehab ministry for drug addicts who want to turn their lives around. This program is a live on site facility with complete accountability and plenty of love. Bro. Tony teaches personal responsibility and personal accountability and holds these men to a very high standard of integrity while loving them and personally supporting the ministry and their personal needs. God has given Sis. Robin a servant’s heart. She cares for the washing, ironing, cooking, etc. on a daily basis. Her testimony is that God doesn’t make her do it but, “lets her serve them to serve Him”.
Dustin, who himself is a product of the Bunkhouse Ministries, and His precious wife, Marah, have watched God restore them, their family, and their home. They have become Bro. Tony and Sis. Robin’s greatest helps in this ministry. Their restored lives are fully invested in helping others in this ministry. Dustin and Marah stand willing and able to step in and care for the men any time Tony and Robin need them.
Bro. Tony Himself is a former drug addict who lost everything and ended up in state penitentiary for making and selling drugs. When released, God saved Bro. Tony and turned his life around. God has today, 10 years later, restored to Bro. Tony everything he lost while on drugs. God has given him favor with the local sheriff, judges, law enforcement, probation staff and others. His life’s calling is to afford others the chance for the mercy, grace and love of God to do the same for them. To GOD be all the glory !
Oak Grove is currently helping Bro. Tony and Sis. Robin construct an addition to the facility that will allow them to serve more men with life controlling addictions. The need in our area is massive and God has called us to be a part of this harvest.
Oak Grove partners with our local ministerial association to meet local needs. They do a fantastic job of keeping records and ensuring that those who need help are the ones who get help. They are a tremendous blessing to the local churches and we are honored to support their endeavors to fairly and without bias meet the needs in our county and surrounding area. We thank God for allowing us to be a part of this tremendous outreach.
Oak Grove has gone and partnered with other churches in missions trips to various places in the homeland including:
San Francisco, California
New York, New York
Phoenix, Arizona
Buffalo, New York
Tok, Alaska
